Mangalore, July 12, 2014:  Press reports state, Deputy Commissioner A BIbrahim has said that no parking zone will be implemented on four roads on an experimental ground in Vittal.  DC said that the ‘no parking zone’ will be in declared on Vittal-Puttur road upto V H Complex, on Vittal-Mangalore road till Panemajalu Lions Bus stand, on Vittal-Kasargod road upto MR Nayak petrol pump and on Vittal-Salethur road upto Benaka clinic.

In the interest of the merchants and public, to unload the goods and also load the goods in vehicles, the vehicles can park on the left side of the road for a short duration.  SP Sharanappa in his report to the Deputy Commissioner has said that four roads join Vittal Junction. Owing to narrow road, parking of the vehicles in front of the shop has been creating blockage to the road users. The Vittal gram panchayat should identify parking areas in the jurisdiction to stream line matter.
