Vivek Traders to organise workshop ’Distress Management for Women’

Mangalore, August 2, 2014: Addressing a press meet on Saturday August 2, G Hanumanth Kamath,president of Nagarika Hitarakshna Vedike informed that   commemoration function of senior labour leader,litterateur Mangalpady Namadev Shenoy will  also include  workshop on ’Distress Management for Women’ and  Biography  release of Mangalpady Namadev Shenoy authored by Santhosh Thammaiah, Columnist.  "The  programmes will be organised on August 5, at T.V.Raman Pai Hall under the aegis of Vivek Traders. The biography will be released by N.Krishnappa, Senior Pracharak, Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh."

He further told the media  "The workshop on distress management for Women will be organised on the occasion. Sampathdevi Pal, Chief, Gulabi Gang, Uttar Pradesh will inaugurate the programme. The workshop will involve teaching of self defense techniques, self defense skills, women safety  and awareness  of legal information along with demo presentation by Major Bhavana, former indian army officer. Usha Jagirdhar from Dharithri Institution will deliver a talk on counseling for women.

"The programme will conclude with a talk by Chakravarty Sulibele, popular columnist. The participants will get safety awareness handbook, ayurvedic medicinal plant sapling and special safety equipment" said Chandrakaanth Pai. Participants are welcome.
