Mangalore, Nov 17, 2012: The Yashaswini Mahila Mandali organized Samskruthika Parthibotsava 2012 as part of its decennial celebrations at Town Hall on Nov 17, Saturday.

Delivering the inaugural address, Main S. Shetty, secretary of Shridevi Education Trust, said that the members of an organization need to be motivated for the proper functioning of the organization.

Speaking about woman power, she said the women have proved time and again that they are capable of achieving anything.

She also spoke of the importance of preserving and promoting Indian culture.

Umanath Kotyan, president of the Tulu Sahitya Academy, presided. The chief guests were Meera Ashok, MCC corporator, and Arooru Lakshmi Rao, president of Mahila Sabha.
