Young man from Uduma brutally murdered in Dubai

Kasargod, Dec 8, 2013: A young man from Uduma in Kasargod who worked in a restaurant at Al Rashidiya in Dubai was hacked to death outside the restaurant on December 6, Friday morning.

The deceased is Haneef(32). The killers had also stolen a cash of Rs 10 lakh, some telephone cards and passports which were in the restaurant. As the entire incident has been captured on CCTV camera, it is likely to help investigation by the police.

Haneef was working in the restaurant owned by a person from Kannur, since the past one and a half years. On December 6, he had remained in the restaurant while other workers left home. According to sources, a man who entered the restaurant, dragged Haneef outside and then killed him. It is learnt, he was assisted by two others in committing the brutal act.

Dubai police are investigating the case.
