Youth died in Truck-scooter collision in Manjeshwar

Kasargod Mar 17, 2016  :  A 20 year old died in Truck- scooter accident near Hosangady Check post in Manjeshwar on March 16, Wednesday at night.

The deceased is been identified as Shahjahan(20). A student of Srinivas College in Mangaluru. He was resident of Kunjathur.

It is learnt that a speeding fish-laden lorry plying towards Mangaluru collided with  Shahjahan’s Scooter.   Due to the impact of the accident he sustained serious injuries and breathed his last on the way to hospital.  The traffic in the region was snarled for an hour.

The locals raged in to anger near the check post and blocked the road which led to traffic jam for more than a hour.

Police visited the spot and brought the situation under control.
