Youth faces action for abusing Pejawar seer on FB

Mangaluru, June 30, 2017: Reports state that a complaint was lodged at Udupi city police station, against Vivek Kademani of Dharwad for allegedly posting a derogatory message on Facebook against Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt for hosting an iftar for Muslims in Krishna Mutt last week.  Vivek on his Facebook page allegedly ridiculed the seer and also used abusive words against the latter over the iftar at Udupi temple.


Demanding strict action against him, Ansar Ahmed, president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, Udupi, lodged a complaint.


"We have received a complaint against one Vivek Kademani and an investigation is set. No FIR has been registered yet in this regard," a source in the Udupi police station is reported to have said.
