Mangalore, March 30: Smart cards will be distributed among BPL families chosen as per the conditions of the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna at the Gram Panchayath (GP) level on March 30 - 31.
The beneficiaries have been chosen on the basis of a survey conducted in 2002 by the Department of Rural Development and the Panchayat Raj.
The smart cards will be distributed in the following places:
March 30: Yekkar GP office for 252 families of Thenka Yekkar village; Surinje GP office for 125 families of Delathabettu village; DKZP higher primary school premises, Madhya for 119 families of Madhya village; Attur higher primary school premises for 42 families of Attur village; Government primary school premises, Kilenjoor for 33 families of Kilenjoor village; village accountant’s office, Kateel for 11 families of Nadugodu village and 64 families of Kondemoola village.
March 31: Kemral GP office for 26 families of Panja village and 76 families of Koykude village; Surinje GP for 243 families of Surinje village; Pavanje temple premises for 62 families of Pavanje village; Haleyangady GP office for 270 families of Haleyangady village.
