Tobacco weaning Centre at Yenepoya open

Mangaluru, June 16, 2019: The Yenepoya Dental College opened a Tobacco Cessation Centre in the ground floor of the college on June 14, Friday. The centre is to facilitate weaning away people from tobacco.

Inaugurating the centre, B.H. Sripathi Rao, dean of the college, said that the centre will go a long way in helping people quit tobacco consumption.

He lauded the initiative of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology of the college in opening the centre.

Following the inauguration, there was a meeting of members of Tobacco Cessation Committee, heads of different departments of the Yenepoya Dental College and Yenepoya Medical College and some social workers.
