SDM Law College launches new PGD course

Mangalore, Apr 2: SDM Law College has decided to launch a new post graduate diploma course in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law from the following academic year. 

B K Ravindra, the principal of SDM Law College, informed press people on Wednesday that the new course will be affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University (KSOU). 

Classes will be conducted at weekends, he informed, adding that the course is meant for the benefit of young professionals and in-house IP counsels. The course will assist legal professionals to understand the managerial and legal aspects of intellectual property and various strategies that can be adopted during IP litigation and prosecution. 

The course will be divided into two semesters, the duration of each being 5 months. Those interested can call 0824-2494360.
