Elephant spotted on Charmady Ghat road

Belthangady, May 9, 2020: A wild elephant was spotted on the eighth curve of Charmady Ghat this week causing some  panic among motorists passing through the area.

The wild elephant was spotted by some who  people were on a vegetables laden truck. Later the Belthangady police station and forest officials were informed. The forest personnel and police officials who arrived at the spot ensured that no one was harmed by the elephant.

An elephant was spotted in the same area on April 8.
