Covid test positivity rate reduces in coastal districts

Mangaluru, Jan 30, 2022: Covid-19 cases in the coastal districts continued to fall marginally, with Dakshina Kannada and Udupi reporting 1,206 cases on Saturday.

Dakshina Kannada reported 627 fresh cases, with a test positivity rate (TPR) of 7.7%, and five more fatalities took the district’s death toll to 1,744. The TPR of the district was 8.2% on Friday.
