5th anniversary of tri-weekly celebrated

Mangalore, April 19: The fifth anniversary of the tri-weekly “Shikshana Manthana” and “Athmashakti” was celebrated at Town Hall in Mangalore on April 17, Saturday, under the auspices of Brahmashree Narayana Guruswamy Publications and Charitable Trust (R). 

President of Brahmashree Narayana Guruswamy Publications and Charitable Trust Sadananda D S delivered the keynote address and introduced Shri Brahmashree Narayana Guruswamy.  

Krishna J Palemar, the district-in-charge minister, inaugurated and said that the organization has been associated with journalism and social service for the past five years. Speaking about the role played by the media in the building of society, he said that the media can build or break a country. 

Prof T C Shivashankar Murthy, the vice chancellor of Mangalore University, released an educative bulletin of Athmashakti. Chandras K expressed gratitude. Jaya C Suvarna, Damodar C Kundar, and Dr M K Bhandi were present during the occasion.
