Minister Palemar assures construction of flyover at Nanthoor

Mangalore, April 28: ‘There is no question of suspending the construction of fly over near Nanthoor’ Said Krishna J Palemar, District in- charge minister. He was replying to a decision made by The National Highway Authority to shelve the construction work at Nanthoor, temporarily, due to the unsolved land acquisition problem.

The necessary action will be taken to construct intended project at Nanthoor, Palemar said. He further added that, there is a necessity of flyover at Nanthoor. If there is a problem of land acquisition, I will meet the District Deputy Commissioner and convince him to take necessary action to solve the problem, he assured.

The district administration will extend necessary support to construct fly over at Nanthoor and the project will not create any unfair to any one. A swift action will be taken to shift electric cables passing near here, he confirmed. The concerned authority has not brought the issue, related to flyover construction, to me, he said.
