KMC launches Manipal Home Care services

Udupi, May 2: Manipal Group introduced “Manipal Home Care” in Mangalore, Manipal, and Bangalore on April 30, Friday. The new service was launched on the 112th birth anniversary of late Dr. T M A Pai, the founder of the KMC group of institutions. 

Udupi, May 2: MLA Yogish Bhat inaugurated the scheme in Mangalore. Dr. Lakshman Prabhu spoke about the life and achievements of late Dr. T M A Pai, who was an able statesman. Sudhakar Rao, retired chief secretary of the state government, inaugurated the scheme. 

Major General (Retd) Dr. G Rajpopal, the dean of KMC, spoke about the scheme. The newly launched Manipal Home Care is part of Manipal Health Systems, the largest healthcare management group of Asia, providing medical services to the needy right in their homes. 

Each “Manipal Home Care” unit contains facilities for intravascular drip administration, checking blood pressure, administering injections, changing dressing, monitoring health, back care, bed making, tube feeding, and much more. The residents of Mangalore, Bangalore, and Udupi can now avail of these facilities.
