Tulu film “Dever” muhurat on May 10

Mangalore, May 6: Karkala Shekar Bhandary, the film producer, said during a press meet held at Press Club on May 6, Thursday that the muhurat of the Tulu film “Dever” by Innostrom Entertainment Group will be held at Durgaparameshwari Temple at Kukkundoor in Karkala on May 10, Monday at 8:05 a.m. 

Mr. Bhandary said that the movie contains 4 songs and one Yakshagana piece. The vocalists are Jayachandra, Anuradha Bhat, and Rameshchandra. The film is to be shot in Udupi and Karkala. A total of 65 artistes will be working in the film. 

Director Sudhakar Bannanje said that the story is based on his novel bearing the same title. The role of the protagonist, who is a drainage cleaner, is played by theatre artist Sudhir. 

Actor Sudheer, actress Lahari, and others were also present for the press meet.
