Poster-making contest to celebrate No Tobacco Day

Mangalore, May 20: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, the Centre for Integrated Learning (CIL), Rotary Club of Mangalore Sunrise, and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City will jointly organize an event to celebrate No Tobacco Day on May 30 and to create awareness regarding the ill effects of using tobacco. 

The event will comprise a poster-making contest, a counselling session on the ill effects of using tobacco, street plays, and interactive sessions. 

Students can send their entries for the poster-making contest. They must use chart paper sized 20X35cms. The topic is “Tobacco and Its Ill Effects.” Prizes will be awarded for two categories--High School and College.

Students can hand over their entries personally at the office of the Nehru Yuva Kendra, PWD Office, Near RTO, Mangalore on or before May 28th.
