Mangalore, May 26: An endangered white owl, chased by an eagle, rescued by the Mangalore special police Forest mobile Squad, led by Naveen Chandra Jogi, Sub-inspector, at Adkare Padpu in Konaje on May 24.
It is said that the forest mobile squad has succeeded to protect the wild bird near the house of a certain Mohan Shetty. The value of the wild bird is yet to be confirmed as it costs very high in the international market.
Ashok Shetty, Umesh, Paparam Shetty, Chandra Shekhar Brahmavar and Harischandra were the other police constables took part in the rescue operation.
