Satish Devadiga explained that a team comprising Hemachandra Devadiga, Rama Devadiga, Ravindra Devadiga, Sathish Kotian, Harish Poojary, Taranath Kotian, Taranath Kunder, Guruprasad Acharya, Shekar Kotian, Nonayya Sapalya, and Sathish Devadiga had reached the site of the plane crash within two minutes. Accusing Mohammed Sameer of giving a false statement for the sake of reward and publicity, Sathish Devadiga explained that none of the local people saw him at the site. However, he admitted that Sameer might have been the first person to give information regarding the crash.

Mr. Devadiga also said that the fire service reached the plane crash site before the police department, but they sprayed water from the runway and did not approach the crashed plane. He clarified that the plane crashed when Sabrina’s rescuers carried her to the channel; otherwise, even the residents would have gone up in flames.

Although a group of 20 – 30 local people had come forward to help the victims, their intention was to steal ornaments and valuables from them, he said.

Hemachandra Devadiga, Ravindra Devadiga, and Rama Devadiga were present during the press conference.
