Mangalore, May 27: The Indian Cultural and Arts Society (Incas), headed by Gangadharan, organized a condolence meeting in honor of the 158 people, who lost their lives when a Boeing crashed at Mangalore International Airport.
The forum, which has filed a case against Air India for its exorbitant air fares, said that old aircraft must be withdrawn from the Gulf sector. It also said that “foreign pilots should only be used as a last resort because a large number of Indian pilots were available.”
Condemning the step-motherly treatment meted out to Karippur International Airport, it promised Indian expats in the Gulf that it would protest against such attitudes.
A renowned businessman of Kerala, Gangadharan is also the president of Kerala Chamber of Film Producers and Malabar Chamber of Commerce.
