Michael Fernandes presents cheque to XITC for new course

Mangalore, June 12:  President of Hind Mazdoor Panchayat of Karnataka, social worker, and union leader Michael Fernandes visited the Xavier Industrial Centre (XITC) in Assaigoli with his brothers Aloysius and Paul Fernandes and Frederick D’Sa, the trustee of the Lawrence Fernandes Foundation. He presented a cheque to the management of XITC for the new mechanic consumer electronics course introduced by the center. 

Paul Fernandes and Trustee Frederick D’Sa spoke on the occasion. An agreement was signed between the Lawrence Fernandes Foundation and the Xavier Educational Trust. Fr. Victor Machado, the parish priest of Bejai, was the chief guest. 

Founder Chairman of the Xavier Educational Trust J. J. V. Fernandes made the welcome speech. Treasurer Michael Mascarenhas presented the report. Secretary of the Trust F. M. Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. Principal Sudhir Raj Kotian was the dignitary on the dais. Shivanand J. T. O was the comperer.
