Padubidre: Five injured in Bus accident

Padubidre, June 12: Five persons including two women were injured in a bus accident which occurred at Padubidre Kalsanka Road on June 11.

The injured were identified as Kaup Kalya resident Kalyani (68), her daughter Sujatha (28) from Mumbai, Sujatha’s children Aravind (8) and Manish (9) and John B Rebello of Kalianpur Nejar.  All the injured were out of danger said Padubri police.

Explaining about the incident police said that a bus running between Udupi and Mangalore dived off the Ermal- Kalsanka mini bridge, when driver tried to avoid collision with another bus heading from opposite direction.  Padubidri police have registered a case.
