Explosion in a cracker making unit, Chellangaru Gudde Near Kanyana, Vittala.

Vittal, Dec 16: Explosion in an illegal crackers manufacturing unit in Chellangaru Gudde, Padekallu Karopady village near  Kanyana on Monday night at 10.30pm made news in every media.  The People of Karopady and Kanyana villages were panicked and the informed the police. 2 persons are seriously injured in this incident and the premises were totally destroyed. In the first instance, rumors spread like wild fire as Bomb blast. However, investigation revealed that it was an accident.






Intensity of the blast was so high that the sound could be heard as far as Kanyana  and nearing villages. The owner of the illegal cracker factory is identified as Moidu Kunhi and his accomplish is one Mr. Mohammed. Police is investigating the incident.

People around here suspect that this is a bomb manufacturing unit supplying bombs to miscreants for illegal activities. Bantwal MLA B Ramanatha Rai visited  the spot and urged DC and SP to carry out the further investigation on this incident.
