Nigel Pereira elected as president of Catholic Sabha

Mangalore, May 162, 2012: The Catholic Sabha of Mangalore Pradesh of Mangalore Diocese has elected Nigel Pereira as its president for 2012 – 13 at its general body meeting, which was held in the campus of Milagres College.

The organization has also elected Flavy D’Souza of Ranipur as its general secretary, Elroy Kiran Crasto as its vice president, Flavy D’Souza of Permannur as its joint secretary, Kiran Elroy Crasta of Gangully as its treasurer, and Erwin D’Souza as its joint treasure.

It has also selected William Machado as its president and Sanjay Andrade as its secretary for the Udupi zone; Joachim D’Costa as its president and Theresa Sequeira as its secretary for the Kinnigoli zone; Josphine D’Souza as its president and Joachim D’Souza as its secretary for the Bantwal zone; Francis D’Souza as its president and Melwyn C. D’Souza as its secretary for the Mangalore zone; and Valerian Sequeira as its president and Elcy D’Souza as its secretary for Moodubidri zone.

Maritto Sequeira of Bendoor, previous president of Catholic Sabha, conducted the election. Fr. J. B. Crasta, spiritual director of the Catholic Sabha, was also present.
