Doctors dies of drowning in River Gundya

Mangalore, May, 28, 2012 : A Mangalore-based doctor died of drowning in River Gundya near Uppinangady on the evening of Sunday. The deceased is Dinesh Amin (56), who used to practice in Kuttar.

According to the police, Dr. Amin had gone to Gundya with his family and accidentally slipped and fell into the water.

Although he was rushed to Wenlock Hospital, his life could not be saved. He was declared dead on arrival.
