AHINDA condemns attack on students

Mangalore, July 30, 2012 : AHINDA, a federation of minorities, backward class communities, and Dalits, condemned the recent attack on students partying at a resort in Mangalore, at a press meet on Sunday.

President Lolaksha called the attack an “onslaught on the privacy of individuals” and said that the culprits must be punished severely. He also held the media as responsible for the attack.

Since the accused are usually released on bail, even the government is responsible for this attack, he stated, adding that the government has failed to enforce the law especially in DK district.

A number of people such as Renny D’Souza, Suresh Shetty, Tejasvi Raj, and others were present.
