Mangalore, Aug 13, 2012 : The South Kanara branch of the Bharath Swabhiman Trust (BST) organized a vehicle rally in Mangalore on August 12, Sunday, expressing their support of Baba Ramdev’s movement against corruption in Delhi.
The rally began at Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) and ended at the DC’s office through Ambedkar Circle, after which it headed back to MCC. It comprised 20 – 25 vehicles.
BST member Veena Shetty said that the rally was held as a mark of support for the anti corruption movement in India and the demand to bring back black money from Swiss banks. She said that Baba Ramdev has been fasting for the past 3 days and the BST wants to show that it supports him.
