Adventure and nature study camp to be organized by Sarva Shikshana Abhiyaan Project

Mangalore, August 21, 2012: Sarva Shikshana Abhiyaan Project Co-ordinator Shivaprakash on Monday said, “Around 360 students of the government schools from Dakshina Kannada will participate in camps that provide training in swimming, rafting, trekking and so on. The selected students will attend the adventure and nature study camp that will be held form Nov 1st.”

Chinnara Jilla Darshana :

As many as 350  government school children will get a chance to visit harbor, airport, various industries and tourist spots in Dakshin Kannada under the aegis of ‘Chinnara Jilla Darshana’.They will be touring in KSRTC buses. “Food and accodomation will be provided to the students. The government will be spending Rs.480 per student,” he added.

After the tour every student will be requires to submit an essay about their experiences while on tour. This will enable the organizers for betterment of the facilities regarding the camp.
