Dubai-Mangalore flight diverted: Passengers stranded in Kochi

Mangalore, Aug 23, 2012: An Air India Express flight from Dubai which was to land in Mangalore airport this morning at 6.20 am was diverted to Kochi due to poor visibility conditions at the airport. However, reports as of now say no alternate arrangements have been made for the passengers to return to Mangalore. 

One of the passengers Sunil when contacted says he has no information about any alternate arrangements made. Air India authoriteis meanwhile said as Kochi is a private airport,  the Air India has to pay for all facilities. He also added that the passengers would be taken to Calicut and from there to Mangalore by this evening.
