Coastal security police catch drug peddler red-handed

Mangalore, Sep 12, 2012 : The coastal security police arrested a drug peddler who was trying to sell ganja near Someshwar Beach on September 11, Tuesday.

The arrested is Ibrahim (22) of Koyla in Puttur. The police seized 40gms ganja worth Rs. 1,50,000 and a car from the accused.

Ibrahim was caught red-handed selling ganja at Someshwar Beach because the police had already received information about him. He has already been produced in court and has been remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.

Inspector Gangi Reddy, Bhaskar Shetty, Vijay K., Nasir B., and others under the leadership of Udupi Superintendent M. I. Jamil and Assistant Superintendent H. D. Mendonca cracked this case.
