22 sustain injuries in bus accident

Udupi, Sept. 16, 2012: Around 22 people were injured when the express bus they were travelling in dashed against a divider near Muloor Sunni Centre in Kaup on September 16, Sunday, at around half past nine in the morning.

Reportedly, the driver, who was driving the bus from Udupi to Mangalore, lost control over the vehicle.

The injured have been admitted in various hospitals in Udupi and Kaup. The Kaup police, with the help of the local people, shifted the injured to various hospitals.

The Kaup police have registered a case.
