Karnataka Bank Limited launches mobile banking services

Mangalore, Sep 28, 2012 : Karnataka Bank Limited launched KBL Mobile, a technology-based product, and also a caller tune on Tuesday.

Customers can register their mobile phones with Karnataka bank and use their mobile phones for banking transactions. MD and CEO P. Jayaram Bhat launched this new service.

Customers can use their pre-registered mobile phones for transactions worth Rs. 50,000 per day, provided the mobile sets are GPRS/J2ME enabled. The limit for users of other mobile handsets is Rs. 5000 per day. KBL Mobile gives top priority to safety and convenience.

The bank’s caller tune is meant to give customers a delightful experience whenever they make calls, said Mr. Bhat.

GMs Mahabaleshwar Bhat and P. Jairama Hande were also present.
