Mr. Ramesh had promised that the central government will contribute 75 percent of the total required funds to develop 2000kms of road, but the centre has not released any funds so far.  Since the state government is willing to contribute 25 percent of the required funds, it has received the finance department’s permission for the immediate development of 2000kms of road.
