The missing boys Nithin Raj, Udaya B. C., Noothan H. C., and Bopanna went to college at around 8:30 a.m., but did not return. Three of them are staying at a hostel in Ujire, and one of them was staying in his uncle’s house. According to reliable sources, the four were close friends and diploma students.

Police suspect that the four fled because of the upcoming parent-teachers meeting in the college. The police traced their mobile phones and found that they had reached Bangalore.

Uday’s uncle Dharmaraj has lodged a complaint with the Belthangady Police, on the basis of which the police have registered a complaint.
