New Ford Figo launched in Mangalore showroom

Mangalore, Oct 18, 2012: Dr. Shripad Bhat, country director (government affairs) for Ford India, launched the new Ford Figo in the company’s Mangalore-based showroom in Kottara Chowki on Oct 18, Thursday. 

In his address, Dr. Bhat said that the new Figo is an enhanced version of India’s “most awarded car,” having a better kinetic design, new colors, and enhanced features. It is available at Cauvery Ford in Mangalore. 

Further, he said that the Ford Figo, while retaining the original version’s sporty an sophisticated personality, includes several changes, including 10 new styling elements. The vehicle has already won the trust of customers and proved to be a reliable vehicle, he added.

 

Some of the best features of the new Figo include a global kinetic design, a new front design with hexagonal grills, redesigned headlamps and tail lamps, and many other style changes. The interior design has also been considerably altered, and customers can choose from two bold colors—kinetic blue and bright yellow. 

Other features include enhanced kinetic design, better performance, quieter cabin, mounted radio controls, better comfort, and new 14” alloy wheels and cover designs. 

The new Ford Figo was launched first in Mangalore because it is more popular in Mangalore. Ford India has sold more than 235,000 units in India and worldwide for Rs. 3,92,290.
