ZP CEO K. N. Vijayprakash inaugurated the expo by lighting the traditional lamp with other dignitaries on the dais.

K. Lakshminarayan, group general manager (HR) of MRPL; K. N. Prabhu, CEO of Manipal Ace Event Management Group; Raghuram Shetty, regional manager of the State Bank of India; A. V. Krishnamurthy, manager of Indian Overseas Bank; and Vinod Sherlekar, chairman of Frontline Group of Companies, were the dignitaries on the dais.

In his address, Vijayaprakash said that the automobile industry has grown tremendously of late. Stating that the city has the potential to grow in various sectors, he said that he is sure the expo will be beneficial to most people.

Addressing the gathering, K. Lakshminarayan said that the automobile industry has to primarily identify customer needs in order to grow.

Popular auto companies such as Mercedes, Skoda, Maruthi Suzuki, Hyundai, Vespa, Nissan, Honda, Hero, Yamaha, Ford, Chevrolet, Bajaj, and others formed part of this expo.
