Moily appeals for fair probe into Jacintha Saldanha death case

Mangalore, dec 11, 2012 : Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas M Veerappa Moily has requested External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid to see to it that a thorough probe was undertaken into the Jacintha Saldanha death case. Jacintha was found dead days after she attended a prank call at London’s King Edward VII hospital,  enquiring about the medical condition of Prince William’s wife Kate.


In a letter to  the minister, Moily has also requested for measures to bring Jacintha’s body back to Shirva. Moily in his letter, has voiced concern  of the family of Jacintha who fear that there have been no efforts to ensure a fair probe as well as to bring the body back to her home town.


Moily is also learnt to have spoken to National Security Advisor Shivashanker Menon on the issue.
