Bantwal : Wild honeybee attack lands 35 students in hospital

Bantwal, Jan3,2013: A prank by a couple of students who chose to hurl stones at a bee hive on a tree, while returning home from school, landed nearly 35 students in the hospital after they were attacked by the wild bees.
The incident took place at Kodangai in Vittalpadnur village on January 2, Wednesday.
The two students who threw stones at the hive, merely for the sake of fun, invited the ire of the wild bees who swarmed the students and left 35 of them ill.

The local Morning Star organization rushed to their help and they were rushed to the Vittal Government Hospital for treatment.
