Two youth from Andhra nabbed for torturing monkeys

Udupi, Jan 3, 2013 : Two youth who were holding two monkeys captive by chaining them and were seen collecting money from public, were trapped by Nityananda Olakadu, General Secretary of Udupi District Nagarika Samithi near Kalsanka .
The two hailing from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh were entrusted to the custody of forest officials.
Forest officer Narayan Sherigara has informed that the two captive monkeys have been released to the forest near Hirebettu.
The duo , was set free after making them sign a bond.
