Accidents claim lives of 3 motorcyclists in district

Mangalore, Jan 7,2013: Road accidents claimed the lives of three motorbike riders in separate incidents reported from Mangalore, Kundapur and Subrahmanya on January 6, Sunday.
 
In the first case reported from Mangalore, a bike rider Karunaker (35) hailing from Kodikal, died on the spot and the pillion rider Sandeep sustained injuries when the two-wheeler was hit by a jeep from behind near AJ Hospital in Kuntikan.

Karunaker and Sandeep were on way to Kodikal from KPT when the mishap took place.
In a case reported from Kalavara in Kundapur, Umesh, a motorcyclist lost his life when  his two-wheeler collided head on with a truck. Pillion rider Raghavendra was also injured.

In the third accident reported from Kashikatte near Subrahmanya, a two-wheeler rider was killed when the vehicle was knocked down by a speeding pick-up lorry.  The deceased is Theerthananda. Pillion rider Chandrashekhar was injured in the mishap.
