Youth dies as cell phone explodes while charging

Mangalore, Jan 17, 2013: In a tragic incident, a youth hailing from Odisha, who worked for a private firm,  lost his life when the mobile which he had kept for charging exploded at his residence at  Malarpadavu in Pavoor village near Konaje on January 16, Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Mithun (25). He was staying in the accommodation provided by his employer from Harekala. It is suspected that while charging, power had  flown into the China made handset  resulting in the explosion.
