HDK to inaugurate JD(S) convention at Farangipete on Feb 2

Mangalore, Jan 30, 2013: JD(S) will hold a huge convention of party workers at Abdul Nazeer Saab auditorium, Central Maidan, Farangipete on Feb 2, Saturday at 2.30 pm.

Informing this to reporters at a  press meet held at Hotel Woodlands on Jan 30, Wednesday, Reception Committee  Honorary President Shashiraj Shetty Kolambe said that State JD(S) President H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the event, while DK district JD(S) President M B Sadashiva will preside.

JDS leaders including M C Nanaiah, B Z Ahmed Khan, Iqbal Ansari, Madhu Bangarappa, Zafarulla Khan, K Amarnath Shetty, Afsal Agha Khan, B Nagaraj Shetty, Shakeel Ahmed, Shivalinge Gowda, S L Bhojegowda, Elias Santis, Sureshchandra Shetty, Prasad Babu, Sushil Noronha and many others will participate as the chief guests.

Prior to the convention,party workers will take out a bike rally from  Bunts Hostel Circle to the party office in Falnir at 11.30 am. A workshop for JD(S) women party workers will be held at 12.30  noon, he informed.

Shetty also stated that  H D Kumaraswamy will address the press at  a party worker’s residence at Karmar cross, Padil  at 1.30 pm.

JDS members Mohammed Kunni Vitla, Haji Abubakker Natekal, Vasanth Poojary, Ratnakar Suvarna, Krishnappa Poojary and others were present at the press meet.
