Hotelier of Udupi origin dies in road mishap near Hubli

 Udupi , March 6, 2013  : A veteran hotelier from Sangli who hailed from Udupi  district, met a tragic end in a car accident  on the National Highway at Mishrikoti Cross near Hubli on March 4, Monday.

The deceased is Kemtur Karunaker Shetty (71). His wife and the driver of the car have sustained serious injuries in the mishap. The mishap took place when Shetty was on way to Sangli  from his native village of Kemtur.

Shetty owned the Uday and Priya Hotels at Sangli and was active in Tulunada Sangha of Sangli. He is survived by his wife and a son.
