Youth drowns in Suratkal beach

Mangalore, March 9, 2013  : A youth hailing from Krishnapur met a watery grave at the Suratkal Mallamar beach on March 8, Friday.

The mishap took place when Afeez (18) had been to the beach close by the Suratkal NIT-K light house  on Friday  along with some friends.

He was washed away by a mighty wave.Seeing him drown, four of his friends fled the scene, while two others were handed over to the Suratkal police by the locals.
