Namitha D Rao is South Block Women’s Congress President

Mangalore, April 1, 2013: Former deputy mayor  Namitha D Rao has been appointed as the Mangalore South Block Women’s  Congress President. District Women’s Congress  President  Mamatha Gatti has issued an order appointing Rao to the post.

 

Presently,  Namitha D Rao is the President of the Women’s Wing of Mangaladevi Seva Samithi and is also serving as the Joint Secretary of the Old Students’ Association of Mangalore University College.

Namitha Rao has also served the Congress in various capacities. Her appointment has been made with a view to strengthen the organization of the party  in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.
