Uppinangady boy Nihal wins Mitsubishi Enikki Festa drawing contest

Uppinangady, May 30, 2013: Nihal Noojibail, a talented artist from Uppinangady has won an award in the drawing competition conducted during Enikki Festa of Mitsubishi Asian Children. The contest was held under the aegis of UNESCO.

A class six student of Indraprastha Vidyalaya, Nihal was one among the eight Indian students and the only south Indian student  selected for the award. A total of 9699 Indian students had participated in the contest which  saw  70,899  participants from across the world.

 He will receive the award at a ceremony to be held in Japan from July 31 to August 4.
