Ashwin, Meghana crowned Mr and Miss Devadiga at colourful ceremony

Mangalore, July 1, 2013 : Ashwin Kumar from Bangalore and Meghna Nagesh from Mangalore were crowned Mr Devadiga and Miss Devadiga respectively  in the Mr and Miss Devadiga 2013 contest conducted by Devadiga United in association with Karnataka Rajya Devadiga Sangha at Devadiga Samaja Bhavan, Mannagudda on June 29, Saturday evening.

 Amrit Raj from Mangalore and Anush Prateep bagged the first and second runner-up title in the Mr Devadiga category while Kishori Devadiga from Mumbai and Neha Devadiga from Mangalore were the first and second runners-up respectively in the Miss Devadiga category.

The contest was conducted online and the winners were selected through public voting  and jury decision.

 Vaman Maroli, Vice President of Karnataka Rajya Devadiga Sangha, Ramachandra Devadiga, General Secretary  and others were present. Dayanand Kukkaje from Daijiworld, Disha Dinker, Miss Mangalore 2012, Darshan Kapadia, CEO of Premier Entertainment, Amit Devadiga, Creative Director, Cinevistas and Prasanna Devadiga, CEO of DeWallet were the judges.

A variety of cultural programmes entertained the audience.
