Kasargod : Hospital canteen supplies ‘snake sambar’ to pregnant woman !

Kasargod, July 16, 2013 : A pregnant woman who was admitted to the Kasargod General Hospital, probably got the shock of her life time when she spotted a dead baby snake in the sambar which was supplied to her from the hospital canteen on July 14, Sunday night.

The woman from Badiadka Koppalamoole who was terrified following the incident, is said to be presently recovering.  It is said the woman who noticed some large piece in the sambar tried to  examine it when to her horror she found that it was a dead baby snake. The snake was 4 cm long. A complaint has been lodged and  the hospital authorities are expected to take action against those running the canteen.
