Karnataka Power Lifting Association gets 5 lakh from State govt

Mangalore, Aug 25, 2013: Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs of Karnataka Abhayachandra Jain handed over a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh to the organizing secretary of the event Satish Kudroli as a token of the state’s participation in the senior national power lifting championships.

 

The Railway Sports Promotion Board continued its dominance on Sunday almost sweeping the men’s section winning four out of the five golds at stake. Railways seem to be thus comfortably poised lift the overall championships in the 39th Men’s and 31 st Women’s Senior Nationals being hosted by Karnataka Power Lifting Association under the authority of Indian Power Lifting Federation.
