Bantwal : Tailoring shop gutted in fire mishap

Bantwal, Oct 15, 2013 :  A tailoring shop was gutted in a fire mishap at Ananthadi  on October 13, Sunday night.  It is learnt, all clothes in the shop were destroyed in the fire and the loss has been put at Rs 50,000. The shop was owned by  Shashidhar.

The fire was first noticed at around 1 am by neighbours who immediately alerted Shashidhar. However, by the time Shashidhar rushed to the spot, the shop was gutted. There is a suspicion that  it was not an accidental fire but sabotage as there was no chance of a short circuit in the shop sans electricity connection.

Shashidhar who has been running the shop since 15 years is at a loss as he has lost his livelihood.
