To blame Dharmadhikari without evidence is wrong: Vasanth Bangera

Belthangady, Oct 25, 2013: Belthangady Legislator K Vasanth Bangera has said that the best solution at the present juncture would be to hand over the Sowjanya case to the CBI.

Speaking to  press persons here on October 24, Thursday at Dharmasthala, Bangera expressed his dissatisfaction over the CID probe and urged the government to immediately stop the CID probe.

He said he has even received a memorandum from people of Dharmasthala seeking a CBI probe into the case and informed that he would speak to the Chief Minister on the issue on October 25.

Bangera also chose to point fingers towards the then Belthangady SI Yogish Kumar for the poor investigation into the case despite not being under  pressure from any corner. “His failure to conduct a thorough probe has brought disrepute to Dharmasthala,” Bangera opined.

The MLA further said it was wrong on the part of anyone to point fingers  towards the Dharmadhikari or Dharmasthala Kshetra without any evidence.
